I am running for Findlay City Council because I care about our community and believe in the importance of unity and working together
to achieve goals.
With a solution-focused, strategic, and curious mindset, I see opportunities to bring people together, strengthen collaboration, and find solutions through our City Council.
Through my experience in the Air Force, and as a community leader, I’ve learned that the best results come from listening, engaging, finding common ground, and working toward shared goals. I’ll bring this approach to City Hall on behalf of Ward 1 and all of Findlay
I will listen. Your concerns matter, and I want to hear them.
I will communicate openly, provide regular updates, and be accessible.
I will work hard for you and our community.
Air Force veteran, military background, leadership at HCVSO, and commitment to Findlay. I’ve spent my career bringing people together to solve problems and make a difference.
My Values: Integrity, service before self, and excellence in all we do.
My Commitment: From longtime homeowners to young families starting out, from business leaders to those working hard to make ends meet, I believe in representation that works for everyone. I’ll bring thoughtful, forward-thinking leadership to my role on City Council and ensure that Ward 1 has a strong voice at the table.
I have posted my official press release about running for Findlay City Council Member Ward 1.
If you live in Findlay’s Ward 1 – which includes Precincts 1A, 1B, 1C, and 1D – you have the opportunity to vote in the May 6th primary election to help decide who will represent you on Findlay City Council.
Why the Primary Matters: Primaries are where your voice has an even greater impact. With lower voter turnout compared to general elections, every single vote truly matters. This is your chance to help shape the future leadership of our Findlay community, starting at the local level.
UNITY
One of the biggest challenges I see, and the reason I stepped up to run, is the division within our community. I believe we need collaboration, mutual respect, and a focus on common ground to keep Findlay moving forward. My goal is to bring people together to solve problems rather than allowing conflict to stall progress.
COMMUNICATION
I believe in open and ongoing dialogue between City Council and the residents of Findlay. I will hold Neighborhood Chats and Community Conversations to provide opportunities for residents to share their thoughts, ask questions, and stay engaged in city discussions. Additionally, I will provide regular and transparent updates on city decisions, ensuring residents have a clear understanding of how policies affect them. My goal is to ensure that Ward 1 continues to be well-represented and that every resident feels informed and included.
COMMUNITY
As a mother, grandmother, and wife of a small business owner, I know firsthand the importance of having a thriving local economy, safe neighborhoods, and a place of community where all families can grow.
LOCAL BUSINESS
Local businesses are the backbone of Findlay’s economy, and their success is essential to our community’s long-term growth. As a City Council member, I will work to ensure businesses have the resources, workforce, and support needed to thrive. Strong local businesses mean a strong Findlay. By working together – at the local and state level – we can create an environment where businesses flourish and our economy remains resilient.
My focus is on listening to you, working with you, and ensuring your voice is heard at City Hall.
• Engage directly with business owners to understand their challenges and opportunities, ensuring their voices are heard when shaping policies that impact them.
• Attend Chamber events, business round tables, and networking sessions to stay informed on key issues affecting our local economy.
• Advocate for policies that support small businesses, encourage entrepreneurship, and strengthen workforce development efforts.
• Collaborate with state leaders to explore grant opportunities, tax incentives, and economic development programs that can help reduce costs and support the bottom line for local businesses.
• Prioritize infrastructure improvements that benefit both residents and businesses by ensuring Findlay remains a competitive and desirable place to invest and grow.
Let’s move Findlay forward – TOGETHER!
